Smaller regional airports can have limited or inconsistent ATM access compared with major hubs, so it's sensible to carry some Egyptian pounds — or a card you know works internationally — before you land, rather than relying solely on an airport ATM.

If you're booking a transfer with us, you don't need cash on arrival: pay by card or in advance, and settle any balance with your driver in whichever currency works for you.

As with SIM kiosks, ATM coverage at a newer, single-terminal airport is more limited than at a major hub, so it's worth carrying some cash (Egyptian pounds or USD) for your first taxi, tip, or transfer until you reach a wider selection of ATMs in the city.

As with most Egyptian airports, it's worth arriving at least 3 hours before an international departure and around 2 hours before a domestic one, since security screening and passport control can take longer at busier times.
